Vent Covers

I’ve had several people reach out to me asking if our window grilles work as vent covers for their air return or the wall registers on their HVAC system. Let’s face it, most of the grilles that you see on HVAC systems are pretty hideous, or at least very boring, and certainly an ornamental grille in that space would dress things up.

Consult Your HVAC Specialist

My only hesitation in that situation is you want to make sure that you have adequate airflow through your system so that it doesn’t compromise the efficiencies of the unit that you’re working with. If you have any questions about that, I’d suggest that you pick your favorite grille pattern and then reach out to your HVAC tech and find out if that grille is going to allow the amount of air through that the system is going to require to keep it functioning optimally.
