Forgotten Mountain offers an easy and efficient ordering process for your convenience. When you place an order for our American-made faux wrought iron window grille, rest assured that it will be crafted to meet your specific needs.
We prioritize timely delivery, ensuring that your window grilles is on its way to you as soon as possible.
Process
NOTE: Any grille with a side longer than 47.5″ will be manufactured as two separate pieces. This makes them easier to handle on your end and much cheaper to ship! Digital proof is available upon request.
Materials
While they might look like metal, all our grilles are precision-cut from premium quarter-inch birch wood. The birch multi-ply is lightweight, stable and perfect for indoor applications.
Here is we think it’s best to use birch wood window grille designs.
If you need a shade treatment, choose the optional black (charcoal) Phifer Solar Screen add-on. This integrated solar screen blocks up to 90% of the sun’s glare and heat. These solar screens provide insect protection, privacy, and energy savings while still retaining good outward visibility. (We like it so much we’ve used it on our own shop windows!) Screens are Greenguard and Greenguard Gold certified.
Installation
Our grilles take less than 5 minutes to install. No special tools required. For real.
Our unique magnetic install system means all grilles can be removed in seconds when you want to wash your windows.

Need something special? Contact us for historic reproductions, incorporated logos or branded work. Let us know if you need a design suited for niches, pass-throughs or textured ceilings.
